I have tried both version. I like them both but I must say that the web based version is more convenient.

Both Video Recorders work well, however I prefer the desktop version due to the extra features. It is the only video email recorder I have found that has a built in Teleprompter. This really comes in handy if you want to make your video’s look professional.
