Confirm that your high speed broadband Internet connection is functioning properly. A minimum speed of 750kbs download and 300kbs upload is required, although 1500kbs download and 1000kbs upload is recommended. You can check your Internet speed by going to
User Options on the menu bar in your Back Office and clicking on Check Your Speed. If your speed is not within the range specified call
your Internet provider and tell them your speed readings and ask for a technician to check it.
Make sure that your webcam is installed and is functioning properly from within its own software. Check to see that your picture appears in the camera´s software viewer and that the movement is smooth and at proper speed.
Q: How can I import my contacts from another data base into the CoVideo Email system? A:You can find a procedure for importing contacts from Outlook by going to User Options on the menu bar in your Back Office and scrolling down and selecting Import Contacts. While this procedure states it is for importing from Outlook, it has been used successfully for importing from other data bases as well.This is a two step process. Step 1 requires that you export your contacts from your existing data base into an Excel Spreadsheet in CSV format. Step 2 is to upload the contacts into the CoVideo Email program using the steps in the procedure.
When you upload contacts, you are actually uploading them to the CoVideo server. Depending on the number of contacts that you have,
this step of the process could take some time to complete.
hear those who are live. Q: How many people can participate in a Live Presentation? A:For a live presentation, you can have as many as 250 participants attend the presentation. In the Live Presentation mode only the Presenter(s) will be seen and heard. The system allows for up to three (3) presenters with our Basic Package and (6) presenters with our Advanced Package. Attendees can communicate with the presenters via a Chat Box. Q: Can I show my Desktop during a Live Presentation? A:Currently that feature is not available. You can show a Power Point Presentation, a Video or use the Whiteboard function as part of your presentation. CoVideo is planning to add the ability to show your Desktop by the beginning of the fourth quarter in 2009.
